Our commitment

Mind 'N' Motion CIC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all individuals who participate in or are affected by our activities. We believe that every person has the right to be safe, respected and protected from harm.

Scope

This commitment applies to all participants, volunteers, staff, sessional workers and anyone who comes into contact with our organisation. It covers all activities, events and programmes delivered by or on behalf of Mind 'N' Motion CIC.

Our responsibilities

Mind 'N' Motion CIC will:

• Ensure that safeguarding is embedded in all aspects of our work
• Maintain appropriate safeguarding policies and procedures
• Ensure that all staff, volunteers and facilitators understand their safeguarding responsibilities
• Respond promptly and appropriately to any safeguarding concerns or disclosures
• Work in partnership with statutory agencies where required
• Review our safeguarding arrangements regularly
